We invite you to take advantage of the incredible talent that our friend and designer Thelma Findlay has to offer. She will instruct us in creating a limited edition Altered Memory Book “ANGELS IN THE MAKING”. We will enjoy an entire day altering a book and creating a one-of-a-kind memory album of special people in your life—Angels—folks who have shared your life and have passed. Capture some brief memories about them between the pages of your very own ANGELS book. A book surely to be treasured for years to come and coveted by the next generation. If you attended the November crop, you will recall that Thelma spent the time creating her ANGELS book. She will be joining us in Brandon, where she will teach you how to create our own ANGELS book. She will be available for the day to offer suggestions and help you design page by page in your books—and share with you some of her page decorating techniques. This is a limited edition class, in that there is room only for 36 participants. Spaces are going fast, don’t hesitate to register.

SUPPLIES REQUIRED:
15 (or more) photos of your special Angels–“preferably in black & white” or “Sepia”
– photos should be 4” x 6”, but can also be 3 ½” wide by 8” tall (remember that some photos may be altered, therefore, copies would work best for this project)
If you are pre-journaling for this project, the journaling should be on a size not to exceed 3 ½” wide x 8 “ tall (note: pre-designed journaling cards specifically for this project will be available on Feb. 12)
Adhesive – two-way tape works great (1/4” and 1/2 “ are Thelma’s favourites), as the pages become heavy, and the tape will ensure your project stays together
Paper Trimmer/ Scissors / Exacto Knife / Paper Edge Distresser Your everyday scrapping toolkit … because a girl needs to have what works best for her, and she always has to have her tools!
Miscellaneous odds and ends for your project … we are supplying lots of Angel goodness for this project, but you will want to compliment the supplies with your own: think soft blue, angel wings, pearls, complimenting bling, white flowers, ivory flowers, soft blue flowers, ribbon, trims, fabric, stickles, bling, rhinestones, charms, old off-white lace, old buttons in off-white or soft blue, or what you feel you would like to use on your pages.
